I have applied to some of the universities for a full time MBA program in Canada. To get study permit, one needs to show proof of funds in order to support the education. So checked the CIC website and other related websites, and most of them say the same thing.
What I wanted to know is that i'm in the middle of the selling my ancestral land in order to avoid taking a loan from the bank. Can I show the money which me and my family will receive as proof of funds in order to get my study permit. Since this is an agricultural land, the money which we will get will be through a check and that too with a bank account which needs to be opened for this transaction only.
