Deposit the money in your bank account as savings or fixed. Get the bank certificate, statement of account or deposit receipt. If it is a deposit receipt send only photo copy of receipt.
Also you will need a signed letter from your parents stating that this money is a gift and does not have to be repaid.
Please note, however, that since this is a gift you may have to pay income tax on this sum since your government may view this as income and there is usually only a certain threshold allowed per year for gifts from parents etc.

Can one take a bank loan and show it against the proof of funds ?

No.
The money cannot be borrowed in any way, shape or form. It must entirely belong to the applicant.
Otherwise it's not proof of funds, it's merely proof of debt!!!
