CIC can ask for further proof at any time during the application process that you still have the funds. If you no longer have the funds - then your application will be refused. This is why it's important to have the funds from the start of the process to the very end.

Thanks Scylla. You are right. But I think people can take the money away and put it back in the account whenever asked to reproduce the bank statement by CIC.

people usually withdraw money from their account as it's a lengthy process and i myself have invested my money into a business however, i can withdraw it any time if CIC asks. and on landing i can show them physically in the form of DD or Credit card. what about this? is it a fair approach?
