I am an international student from India and currently staying on Post Graduate Work Permit in Canada. I am not working in a job under NOC 0, A and B.
I recently received ITA for Express Entry. I am showing 8.5 Lakh INR in fixed deposits as proof of funds for this.
My spouse who is currently in India wants to visit me on a visitor visa. Can I show the same fixed deposits as the proof of funds for this visitor visa?
Any help/suggestion on this will be wholeheartedly appreciated.

Generally, FDs are not shown as proof of funds for a visa. If the applicant does not have liquid funds/adequate bank balance and s/he must liquidate FDs to pay for a visit then it implies her/his financial situation is not good
