I've considering to create two Fixed Deposits worth CAD 13500 with a national bank in India and keep the funds for 6 months before the EE application.
Do you think it's advisable to show the Fixed Deposit as PoF ?
I'd really appreciate better ideas.

Yeah, Fixed Deposit works perfectly fine.
Many applicants use FD statements as POF.
