I have a question.
Before June 1, the CIC website said it was mandatory to show 6 months bank statements.
After June 1, the website now says 4 months bank statements and the word 'mandatory' has been removed.
With that in mind, my situation is I will be getting an educational loan from a financial institution in Manila, Philippines. If I'm getting a loan, obviously the 4 month bank statement cannot be procured.
So since I'm getting a loan - what are your opinions about getting a bank statement? If someone who got approved for student loan using an educational loan could share their process and experience, I would be very thankful.
You can show your loan statement, it is actually enough, but sometimes the VO will say that you have limited connection with your home country and might be the reason for refusal, so to be on the safer side show your bank statement as well as if you have some property in Philippines show that also, will strengthen your case

Thank you!
Going to show mother's bank account and put the educational loan amount in that account and then take the statements out...what do you think?
You can do that, but the statements should be shown for 4 months
Show your moms bank statement for four months and the loan approval letter. its more than enough
