Proof of funds: Lost job after filing PR_FSW

Hello,

Profile: Masters from University of Waterloo with prior experience, Full time job since May 2017
-Applied for PR under FSW on May 28th 2017.
Current PR status: -Medical passed,
-Called CIC, my application is under additional review

My issue is i lost my job this week, 13th Oct was last working day, and i used my full time job letter and salary figure as the only proof of funds and did not provide any other document for proof of funds, as i did not and still don't have minimum needed funds ($12500) in my bank.

Note: my job loss does not affect my ITA score.

As, I've decided to notify cic about the change in my job status,

Question 1. Should i ask CIC if i need to provide any financial proof or should i proactively arrange a gift deed from my brother and provide a proof with the letter to cic.

Question 2. In case of gift deed, is providing a gift deed affidavit necessary and what doc do i need to provide from the bank after money is transferred from brother?

Please help as this is very urgent!!!!!!
