proof of funds issue....

Dear All
i need this urgent info, im sending my docs today to london visa office:

* i have to show funds, for which i have taken my bank statement but they are insufficient. can i present my car documents (on my name) and prize bonds as proof of funds?

also what does it means by evidence of savings balance & fixed or time deposit statements.

an urgent help req.

You can not show your cars in funds, I do not know what Prize deposits are


The CHC expects to see liquid cash in ban account and thats what is meant by "evidence of savings balance & fixed or time deposit statements."

thanks ankit, prize bonds are certificates which we purchase from state bank (means they are recognized by govt.) and on them, prize money is announced after lucky draw.

Again for Prize money, if this is your money and you can withdraw it any time it may be considered but you may want to check with local applicants if it has worked for any one

Prize bond doest to have bear Name on it so how can u claim that belong to u? mean no chance of prize bond

they they except gold jewelry as proff !

I gave a certificate of some $11-13k equivalent jewelry .. even though we didnt need that since we have AEO
