Now since I'm applying for PR I have collected the amount back from them. If I deposit it and show the bank statement will it be accepted ? since bank statement need to be submitted for 6 months it will show the inflow of cash within the last 1 month. do i need to submit any proofs along with the bank statement ? kindly clarify.

Bank statements are required. Maybe you can deposit the funds in your mother’s account and then transfer to your account using a cheque. Get a gift deed from her to prove the source.
