Proof of funds in primary applicant account

Hi all, I am the primary applicant and I do not have enough funds in my account so can the secondary applicant (my husband) transfer all the amount as a gift deed in my account and then if we produce an affidavit and explain it in letter of explanation, will the bank and CIC accept it? Also, if the funds are transferred in my account (primary applicant) only 2 3 day’s before submitting the application will it create a problem as the fund’s are not 6 months old?? Please suggest.
