Proof of funds in accompanying spouse's account

Hi all,
I am the principal applicant and my spouse will be accompanying me and is included in my eAPR application. Does the entire amount of money for the proof of funds need to be in the account of the principal applicant?
In our case, most of our savings are in an account solely owned by my wife. Does CIC accept proof of funds in a bank account solely owned by my spouse?
I am assuming this should be ok, but just want to double check with experienced members in this forum. Thanks a lot!

Funds can be split between you and your spouse. They don't all have to be in your account.
