Proof of funds for study permit

Hello all,

I am confused about the proof of funds requirements for study permit.

If the total tuition fee per year is $21,000 how much are we supposed to show as proof of funds when applying for the study permit.

I think for SDS, you don't have to show any proof nor do you have to show 2nd year fees. That's what I heard.
