Proof of Funds for Study Permit( Is loan advisable for whole 10k)

Hello,

I received my acceptance letter for Toronto Film School. My total tuition and cost of living is coming upto 56K CD. I am planning to apply for student loan for whole amount.

If I show all funds via loan, what are the chances of my visa getting rejected?

Or do I need to take student loan for only tution and other 10K CD from my father instead of loan.

If you are going for SDS if available you will need to pay tuition fees and GIC of 10K in advance.

If you are going for general or university processing then showing your loan documentation should be enough. Do note you will have to show ITR also if in general college category. However with full amount in loan it should not be a problem.

Also note in loan there is a margin amount so you should be able to show funds for the margin amount.
