I am currently living in Canada and applying for my parents visitor Visa

can I show the proof of funds on their behalf or they need to show their own ?

if I can show on their behalf , what kind of documentation I need to provide

They should price their assets. You can provide your assets as secondary pieces of information if you want. Bank statements, NOA, Salary information, property ownership documents, etc. are some of the options you can use as proof of income.
