I currently have 453 points and am hoping to get an ITA sometime in the near future. I have a question regarding the proof of funds.
I need to show 12K CAD as proof of funds. Is it okay if I arrange these funds once I get an ITA or should I have them in my bank account over a period of time (past so many months or so).
P.S I currently do not have the required funds in my bank account.

Generally, you need to show the funds as having existed in your account for a period of at least six months; in the absence of this, you need to establish the source of funds, to definitively prove that the money belongs to you, and that you have not loaned or borrowed it with the expectation to return it some day.
