Proof of funds for CEC

Hi guys,

I am invited under CEC. I have read previous posts and I understand I don't need to provide Proof of funds for CEC as documented here.

I have a question. Under my personal documents checklist, it asks me to upload "Proof of Means of Financial Support", which seems to be including "Proof of Funds" and other proofs.

Is that exactly same as "Proof of funds"? Because there is no where on CIC website says I don't need to upload "Proof of Means of Financial Support".

You already have the answer in one of the links you posted.

"The system currently asks all applicants to provide a proof of funds document. If you don’t need to provide proof of funds, you must upload a letter explaining either that you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, or that you have a valid job offer."
