Hi All,

I am planning to do my landing on 21 March and will be returning in a week once I complete the landing formalities. Can I bring back my funds on return and take it back again when I move there permanently or should I deposit them with a bank in Canada?

Your immediate response is highly appreciated. Thanks for your time and consideration.

I would recommend that you open a bank account in canada, deposit "some" of the funds (if you need to carry the rest home) and get a credit card (Some banks offer credit cards free for newcomers), this way you'll start building your credit history in canada - which will be helpful if you needed to apply for a loan in future (house/car/or studies...)

pls do i need to actually prove that i have the funds when i send my aplication initially?
