Proof of funds and in what name?

I am the main applicant. My wife's and mine savings are all in a saving account. However, the saving account in under my wife's name only. When they ask me for proof of funds, can I show that even though my name is not in the account?

add your name to the bank account which is more easier than trying to explain the immigration(trust me on that). Donot play with paper worshippers
