Hi all,
I am from Pakistan and my visa office is London. I received 6-12 months wait letter in June 2012. Is it the right time to order CAIPs now? Secondly, I have kept a huge sum of money in bank but due to delay in the processing of application it is devaluating. Should I purchase a plot and show it as a proof of funds? Please advice.

Before taking any decision about the fund you have in the bank, first get CAIPS note.

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to support the costs of living for your family.
You will need to provide proof of your funds to the Canadian visa office in your home country when you submit your application for immigration.

I think plot / land is not acceptable as a proof of funds.
