I am going to Canada on 4th October and I had a question regarding proof of funds.
So what is considered as proof of funds when you land since I won't have a Canadian bank account would I need a certificate from my Indian bank regarding this?

Just an online statement from your local bank quoting that you have the minimum required funds in your account should suffice.

But that would be in local currency (Indian Rupees) would that be okay? Also would I need last 6 months statement?

you can open an account in scotia bank & transfer funds before you land.

Yes local currency is fine. 6 months balance is preferable to have in case the officer asks you.
Is the 6 months balance required or do they ask how much you have with you?
