Yes, VO's generally requests for an updated statement or a PERSONAL NET WORTH STATEMENT towards the end of the process....at the time of RPRF request.

You need to submit a new POF when required by visa office.

Please note that you cannot use loans as proof of funds. It must be YOUR money, and not borrowed. CIC are very clear about this:

My apologies if I have misunderstood you, but if you used borrowed funds for your application you will be caught if CIC ask for 6 to 12 months bank statements during processing. And if you are caught, not only will your application fail but you may not be eligible to apply for a number of years. And frankly, I hope you are caught.

It is concerning the growing number of applicants who believe the rules do not apply to them and who think they can cheat their way into Canada :(

good to see you back man, where were you

Hi :) Well since landing in Canada have been a bit busy. I am back to the UK this weekend (for about 4 to 5 weeks) then back to Canada permanently hopefully.

Wayne.

@ Cap...Welcome back :)

Cool that you landed :D best of luck for future.

@ Poster of this thread, above advice is what reality is.

Hi DBXtoCan,

The following link is from Manila VO which has the sample of Net worth statement (A9-A11). You may get an idea of what is to be expected.

Please pay off the loan so that you have the POF which truly belongs to you. You still have couple of months before you get VO"s request for POF.

Then nothing to worry at all. Please check my earlier post with the details of PNWS and you'll get an idea. So if you have a loan towards your car you will have to mention it in the PNWS.

Why would you have NEW bank account....continue with the old one which has your POF and send statements from that, if asked for.

Good Luck.
