I'll be in Vancouver Canada for a short landing with my family after getting the Immigration visa. I thought to bring with me a traveller cheque as a proof fund instead of cash. Could it be in Us dollar instead of Canadian dollar? Can i cash it back when i come back to my home country in this way i take additional cash to spend and the cheque will be for POF.
Do the cheque need to be addressed to a specific bank in Canada?
I heard there is something called Thomas cook traveller cheque, can someone assist?
