Proof of fund request after medical result received by visa office

I was asked to go for medicals and also to submit some documents which I did, a month later, I was asked to send another proof of fund stating that ''Large deposits in your bank statements must be supported by evidence of the provenance of the funds''to establish my family(of four) when I get to Canada, pls has anyone been asked to send same after sending medical result, what is the implication and how much should be in my account???
