If I am going to submit my full documents in August, could I submit proof of fund (bank statement, for instance) dated in May?
My reason is that I am going to need money in June so if I wait until August to get bank statement, I will not have enough money at that time.
CIC also doesn't mention anything about date of proof of fund.

Even I wonder about the same. I wonder if CIC keeps checking your balance with the bank through out the process to know if money is actually there, not borrowed!
Anyone has idea?
Yea i think so too that they can't check as bank could be anywhere in any country or moreover as u said, not authorized.
BUT, i dont know somehow seniors advice to save money first and then apply... dont know why?

While I was making my Bank Certificate, I asked Manager of the Bank about this particular question, and he said they do receive verification calls sometimes from CHC Offices.
I just called my bank in UK and I asked them about this concern and they said they will not respond to this kind of question unless if it is asked from the account holder(s). I persume that it depends on the country you reside in it for middle east countries may be these issues are possible.

Please read application form, you sign one form give them authority to check your bank details on your behalf.I will talk about pakistan. they usually check from relavant bank .
which form you talk on it. can you mention it. I checked all forms and even london office forms nothing related to giving permission for them to check your bank details.
