Hi. My wife is sponsoring me, she is Canadian I'm Danish. We live in Denmark and plan on relocating to Canada when we get my PR.
My wife works here (in Denmark), should she provide proof that she works in Denmark? All we have is a contract because she is afraid her employeer is going to lay her off if she asks for a letter stating that she works there (her boos is pretty weird).

She has to attach Option C form with application. If the boss is weird then she may add the explanation letter, pay tubs, and copy of the contract. It will wok
We got the Option C (from Canada) but only a few pay stubs
We are just a bit confused abot the whole job things, why does it matter? This is her job here in Denmark and she'll be leaving it as soon as we can move to Canada.
This is because you have to assure them that you will move to CA after getting PR. That is why your such intentions must be clear and bug free for CIC

I think it is also partly to do with understanding how your wife will support you - given she is financially responsible for you when you move to Canada. Although there is no financial requirement for sponsorship CIC want to ensure that you will not require welfare. Having an undertanding of her income/skills will help to assess this. We were in the same position and actually got one of my wifes colleagues to write a letter rather than her boss to avoid alerting her to our pending move!

Her contract and recent pay slips should be fine. I also included a letter along explaining that I could not ask my employer for a letter without risking my job.
