I am currently in H1B in the US. I applied for Canadian PR under the skilled worker category in June with all the requested documents (including copy of I-797 and employment verification letter). However, my application was returned asking me to resubmit with proof of employment. I tried to contact Buffalo office as the contact address for Nova Scotia office was not available but they were not able to answer my question. Does anybody know what else is required to support your employment in the United States? Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Was this for FSW 1 or FSW 2?

If for FSW 1, you don't have to send any documents to NS.
If you were talking about sending to Buffalo, you should send a certified copy of your contract and an employment letter.

Dear Friends,

Salaam.

I have a question about the work experience letter.
I used the 4121 NOC code (University Professor). I'm asking the university about work experience letter. They gave me a letter which does not contain all details that CIC mentioned, e.g. main responsibilties & duties and the total annual salary plus benefits.
And one more problem. I should accompany the work letter with business card od the person who signed the letter, but there is not any kind of business card among the heads of university. So what should I do?

What's your suggestion to overcome this problem. Can you ask your lawyer about it (if any).
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Cheers,
E.B.

You really don't have to spam every thread with the same question.
