Proof of Cohabitation

Hi Guys,

so i am in the process of sponsoring my wife, who currently has no status. Just today we received email from immigration saying they need proof of cohabitation. what are some things that we can show. I was unable to join her to my bank account and unable to get her own phone bill, because she was needing Canadian ID which she does not hav, but she is added as an additional contact for our utilities account. Any help is appreciated.. we have till end of march to submit rest of information.

What is your timeline?when did you submit your inland application?
Here are some examples:
-Credit card statements showing your shared expenses and address are the same
-If you have online order receipt
-If you have company insurance put your spouse as beneficiary
-gym membership
And you can’t provide as stated on the request attach letter of explanation on why you cannot provide those proof. Good luck on your application.

anything that both of your names is stated. like mails, household lease, household expenses, life insurance that you both are beneficiaries,

Also online under “sponsorship status” it says “decision made” and under “PR status” it says “in process.” Would you know what that means and why it says decision made? Thanks again

That means decision made for the sponsor and for PR still in process for sure they gonna wait for the documents that they require you to submit before they can make a decision for the principal applicant just don’t forget to attach the letter of explanation God bless on your application

I have been requested to submit proof of cohabitation as well. Was wondering how's your application going?
