We applied for Proof of Canadian citizenship for our two daughters by mail in August. We used USPS priority mail service (US to Canada) , we had delivery confirmation of August 30.
We haven’t received any communication or confirmation back yet. It appears for proof of citizenship that you cannot link the application or fees paid receipt electronically.
can anyone provide insight on what communication or confirmation (like UCI number) one should expect and the timing?

If you provided an e-mail address on the application, you will receive the Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) with the UCI number via e-mail, provided that the application was accepted as complete per their specifications; be sure to check your spam filter if you have it set up. Otherwise, you'll receive the AOR via regular mail. Based on other applicants that post on this forum that have posted their timeline, it takes between a month to two months for IRCC from the date of delivery to the day that they physically open your package to verify the completeness of the application; they will then either issue you the AOR via e-mail or regular mail, or send back your package if it was deemed incomplete.
Great info... I feel better- we are within that 1-2 mo window, so it seems to hear nothing isn’t so unusual- Thank you for confirming and letting us know what to expect!
