I have received invite for oath ceremony As per the instructions I am expected to sign the Oath or Affirmation of Citizenship form on paper (using a black pen) or electronically at both places indicated “Signature of applicant” (see yellow in example below); the completed form should include 2 signatures.

One of them is the following -
I confirm that I have not been subject to any criminal or immigration proceedings since I filed my application for Canadian citizenship.

I was charged with DUI in Canada a year ago. I have already shared this information with IRCC at the time of the incident and provided the court documents on request. I have also provided fingerprints and subsequently the Prohibitions and Background Check sections in my citizenship application are marked as completed.

in this scenario should I be signing in the prohibitions section in Affirmation of Citizenship form after the citizenship ceremony is completed.

What happened? Did you take your oath? Please share your experience.
