Dear altruists, I have submitted my express entry profile twice and they turned out to be “profile ineligible”. I was pretty sure that this unfortunate thing won’t happen because when I checked my eligibility, it showed “eligible” status every single time.
I don’t reach the current cut- off 441 or 440 with my current IELTS score but my plan was to become eligible for Express Entry and with the Job Seeker’s Validation Code and Express Entry Profile Number I can apply for PNP. But all went to vein I guess. If a kind heart can make a comment on what may happen with my profile, will be very helpful.
(I have a doubt with my work history. Also, the primary occupation 4021 is still brand new for me. I became eligible for that after my BSc but I don’t have ECA done for my BSc)
Personal Info:
Age: 28 years old
Married
Bringing 2 persons to Canada including myself
Proof of fund: 17000 CAD
No relatives in Canada
Study:
MSc: Mathematics from Canadian University- graduated August 2017
BSc: Electrical Engineering outside Canada (didn’t do ECA)- graduated August 2013

The only problem I think is the work experience which may render you in ineligible... you need 1 year continuous work experience in a NOC 0, A, B skill type, full (30 hrs/week or more)
Umm...I think I have continuously worked in the same NOC and in the same organization from Sept 2011 to April 2015. Do you think it doesn't count? I didn't count anything after April 2015 as continuous.

The only work exp that "may" qualify is this one Sept 2013- Aug 2014 (12 mo): Research Assistant: 40 Hrs/week... because the others do not meet the number of hours/week criteria and may not be continuous either (assuming there were holiday breaks in middle)...
You don't need to be upset about it...we all are learning....
How about your spouse? if he has work exp, and can get his Master's degree evaluated for Canadian equivalency, you still be able to qualify....
you both have very good scores imho as well as age, that get you good enough points.
Why i said "maybe" above was for the fact https://www.workbc.ca/careers/4012
"are typically enrolled in a master's or doctoral study program while employed by the university or college"
Maybe you wanna select NOC 4021 instead of 4012 and try and create your profile again with 1 job as highlighted above.... .....Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm......
Thanks for explaining. I will do that. Also, my spouse has started working as Co-op in April 2017 and he completed his MSc in Dec 2017. So he actually worked only 8 months after he graduated.

You figured it out but yes. Your primary occupation cannot be a NOC you don’t have at least 1 year continuous experience in. So you just had to match it with your past experience.
Your spouse should be the main applicant. Since she has studied in USA (not in Canada), she can also use work experience during her studies as long as she got some and it was continuous for 1+year for a full time or an equivalent time for a part time.
Your spouse has better English so that she would get max from the language and you can have less perfect English to give her plenty points.
Please be also aware that none of your work experience acquired during studies in Canada would count (regardless if they are skilled and if they were for more than 1 year). The system itself might count them (as there are several bugs and simplifications there), but upon applying they will be deemed invalid.
Why? because you are already getting points for Canadian diploma.
However you might be able to get a PNP depending where you have studied and if they have a PNP stream for Master graduates. (and it will be a paper based PNP).
