So my lawyer just got in touch to say she'd contacted CIC for an update on my applications - of course the note they got back was very generic but interesting comment about processing timeline:::
Dear Sir/Madam,
In response to your email, your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Current approximate processing times for Canadian Experience Class applications is 12 to 15 months.
No further action is required on your part at this time.
You will be contacted should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.
Regards,
I'm wondering if the timeline has been changed from other messages people have received or if this has always been the case.
Fantastic, but no surprise here! The strike certainly had an impact and while we have seen an increase in MRs, I think the backlog will take its toll on timelines.
