Processing time to get study visa

I applied for September intake. My medical passed on 27 July. Waiting to get my visa approved. Classes will start on 6 September. Should I wait or apply for deferral.

When did you apply? Processing is on average 12 weeks.

Give your timeline, application date and when was biometric completed. I think processing starts once biometric is done.

My classes also starts on 6 sep and I will be waiting about 2 weeks more for results. My 12 weeks is on the 18 aug.

So you may or may not get a response by beginning of September. You will have to decide whether to defer or not, and what is the last date you can start studies.
