Processing time for "We started processing your application on August 30,2013?"

Permanent Residence within Canada Application:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 19, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on August 30, 2013.

3. Medical results have been received.

What does "We started processing your application on August 30, 2013." mean? (The Medical Results received came first before the #2)

And does anyone know how many months more I have to wait for the next step/process?

It says on the website it's 16months processing time so does that mean 16months AFTER August 30, 2013?

From my application going to "in process". We started processing ...blah blah to decision made was around 45 days.

Couple of months from now and you should hear back from them.

When did you do your medicals? When did they receive your medicals?

I am applying for PR under PNP

I had my initial medical done July 3, 2013
Stress Test and ECG July 24, 2013
Repeat xray done July 29, 2013
Echocardiogram done Aug 23, 2013 (Panel Physician found a heart murmur)


1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 19, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on August 30, 2013.

3. Medical results have been received. (saw update online Aug29, 2013)

When should I be expecting the next step? In how many months? and what's the next step?

And it says on the Website:

Ottawa (Case Processing Pilot) - Canada -----> Processing Times IN MONTHS-------> 16
Does that mean 16 months from Aug30? or 16months from April 19?
