Processing time for Spouse Open Work Permit from Islamabad, Pakistan

Hello Everyone,
I know that on the CIC website the processing time for a spouse open work permit application submitted to CIC Islamabad, Pakistan is 7 months, but I have heard that it usually gets approved in 3 months. Is that true?

Any answers will be appreciated.

Hi Hassan,

Me and one of my friend applied in Dec30 and one on Jan 20 but still no any updates and it shows processing time is 6 months from Islamabad so we both are waiting..

I heard that but actually my wife have applied on Feb 27 but still there is no response

I had a friend who applied in November/December and got the WP for his wife in 3 months. That was a paper application

I applied SOWP online in SEPT 2014 and I am still waiting with patience. If you have any update please share... Any one knows why they are taking long???

Yes 3 times same reply File in Process, I got GCMS notes nothing mentioned on GCMS notes looks like they have not yet touched my file.
