Processing Time for Family Class

We recently applied for our parents under the Family class into Canada does anyone know what is latest Processing Time for family sponsorship ?

The processing time is somewhat dependent on which visa office your application is processed through. What is your visa office?

Assuming you applied in 2015, it's difficult to say what the processing times will be since we are expecting them to decrease from the long wait times experience today. If I had to guess, I would say that you should be prepared for a four year wait.

It takes much longer for family sponsorship for anyone other than spouses and children. I think there is a way to fast track it if they are dependent on you to care for them but I am not sure. So right now 46 months is the processing time for the sponsor on parent / grandparent family sponsorship applications and that isn't including checking out the sponsee's. If you are coming from the US for instance the Visa office used for the sponsee will be Ottawa and they list 69 months for that part. However that is way longer than it likely will be as the numbers they have for spousal sponsorship total is 19 months but people are receiving acceptance in as little as 3 to 6 months. That said you're looking at at least 2 years likely 3 or 4.
