Hello!
My Husband and I have made plans to visit the U.S and my family for Christmas.
I'm hoping to have my visa by then, but obviously not holding my breath, so I'm trying to get the information together to try and make my entry back into Canada as a visitor waiting for permanent residency as stress free as humanly possible.
We have all of our receipts for our fees. All have been paid.
I have an expired visitor visa that I applied for and am waiting for the result on my next extension that I sent out in August.
My husband can get a letter from his employer and will be with me going through customs to prove he will be taking care of me financially.
What should I say to the officer when they ask how long I plan to stay?
We will be going through customs in the city where we live, which is a bit smaller, so I think that make it a bit less stressful and easy.
Any other information or advice would be appreciated! We want to make sure getting back into Canada will be fairly easy before we buy our tickets.
