Procedural Letter: TEF Result / Minimum Requirement

Hello Everyone,

Requesting your assistance: I have received a procedural fairness letter from IRCC today indicating that I must obtain level 5 or higher in French language proficiency in accordance with the standards set out in the Canadian Language Benchmarks for each of the four (4) language skills. IRCC gave me 7 days to reply to their email.

I am checking online, B1 is equivalent to CLB 5.

Below are my scores:

Compréhension écrite 364 159 / 300 B1
Compréhension orale 437 240 / 360 B2
Expression écrite 346 222 / 450 B1
Expression orale 440 302 / 450 B2

Can someone please enlighten me and what should I proceed on replying to the Procedural fairness letter (providing an explanation).

Is your Expression ecrite (writing) score 222? If so isn’t that CLB 4. If 222, there is nothing to respond to as you don’t have CLB 5 in all areas.
