I am applying for FSW to Sydney NS next week. my question is can i get 5 points for my wife's master's degree as MA (Master's of Arts) she has done it with private exams Is it full time equavalent? as i can see from the BA (regular) degree and MA (private) degree certificates are awarded by same university.
My Wife studied in india. her BA degree is from the same uni as her MA degeree, the only difference is that she didn't attend a college and written the exams as private student, this MA degree carry as much value as the regular degree for governmnet positions in india, i am not sure about getting points, any idea?
No Dude. You will only get points for her UG degree. I am applying under the same category as you are and I garner points only for my wife's UG education. Hope this answers your question.
you need to check what does the university write on your wife's MA transcripts.
If it has a special mention that she did not attend college or it was a correspondence course, then you cannot claim that extra point, but if the transcripts look as regular as her UG degree, you'll get the extra point.
