Private college to public

I got offer letter from Evergreen college brampton and i got overall 6.0 bands in ielts with not less than 5.5. I took 1 year course and i want to know that I can change my college from private to public after reaching there?? Or i can complete my 1 year course than apply in SDS college??

You can change to a public college as soon as you arrive in Canada. Just make sure you notify CIC when you do that. I would change right away rather than attending a private college.

So are you also going to do the same processor? But what about the study permit than?

Study permit has nothing to do with the school, you are allowed to switch anytime as long as you get admission and inform immigration through website.

Get admission to the other school, go study, update your school in your "GcKey" account, that's it. Your new school can guide you if still confused see the international office.

Hi Guys, just wondering after changing DLI online in CIC account, is it advisable to go for study permit amendment to add conditions? it is mentioned that IRCC does correction if they made any mistake in name or conditions. I just wonder if anyone here transferred from PVT to Public and got their SP conditions changed? or anyone who completed one year and extended study permit with new LOA and got eligible to work afterwards?
