I need some insight on the effects of changing one's Primary Occupation in the Express Entry profile after initially creating it with one and then changing it to another.
I have received a link for applying for AINP through Express Entry stream but had read that during the time of application, the Express Entry profile should be same as that present when I had received the Notification of Interest (NOI) letter from Alberta.
1. Does this mean that I cannot make any changes to my Express Entry profile while applying for AINP?
2. As per the AINP website, my Primary Occupation NOC (NOC 2132) currently takes a lot of time for processing and so I was thinking of updating my Express Entry profile Primary Occupation to my other NOC (NOC 2141) in which I have significant work experience too and which is not listed in the list of NOCs needing a longer processing time. Will it be a good move to update my Express Entry profile with the 2nd NOC to avoid the possibility of a longer processing time?
I understand that the application processing also depends on the demand for the NOCs, so this strategy may not have any effect at all!
Hence, need inputs if anyone has gone through a similar dilemma.
