Hi!

So, I just received my invitation to apply.

I’m just having problems/thoughts. I got invited thru Canadian Experience Class. Anyway, I declared 2 NOCs in my application.
My Primary NOC, 1123, which I have 3 years experience back home and the another NOC, 5423, whch is my 1 year of work experience here in canada. My question is, should I have declared the the 5423 my primary NOC? What are your thoughts? Thank you!

Hi - first, that must be a typo, as there is no 5423 code.

Beyond that - does it really make sense to base a Canadian Experience Application on an NOC for which you have no qualifying (in Canada) experience? To me, it is an odd choice, and yes, I think you should have chosen the NOC matching your in-Canada experience.

Does it matter? I honestly don´t know.

Hey Thank you for your reply. The score that i got for my 3 yrs work experience is 50 and for my 1 yr work experience in Canada is 40.

I rly don’t want to change my answers/decline the invite as I’m scared that I might not be able to get invited again. But maybe I can explain more in my LOE.

There is certainly no need to decline an ITA. People change NOC codes all the time between the profile and the eAPR. But again, I don´t know if there is a good reason for you to change it (or not).
