Primary applicant No passport request

I applied for supervisa for my canadian citizen cousin’s parents as representative. His mother received passport request letter but no such letter for father. Applied online in dec 2017. Any idea why father who is primary applicant didnot recive passport request letter. Is it a sign for rejection? Any ideas?

There have been similar cases such as this one. Processing time/time to get a decision can vary even for applications within the same family.

If processing has exceeded the estimated time published on the IRCC website, you can email/send a web form to request for an expedited decision

Last week I have experienced the same kind of scenario. In my case, only the main applicant got the passport request letter at first. The accompanying applicant got the passport request letter after 4 days. So just wait, everything should go fine.
