Me and my spouse applied for Visitor Visa of Canada in 2015, which was rejected on the grounds of "Purpose of Visit". At that time, we forgot to mention about an internship (43 days) that my spouse did in our application. Now, in our EE application, we want to disclose it. Although it does not affect our eligibility or CRS score in anyway because i am the primary applicant, does the previous omission will lead to misrepresentation even if we are disclosing it in our current EE application?

like @tuhadapeo has advised, just be truthful and mention the previous refusal.
Ignore any mistakes of the pasts, and ensure your current application is factual to the best of your knowledge. The previous rejection and the circumstances around that will not impact your current application, if you are honest that is. Good Luck !
