Hello house my study visa was previously refused due to insufficient funds.
I now have ITA and the minimum POF requirement sitting in my account for 5 months can i go ahead and hope that they wont raise an issue on how the funds came about as they had rejected me previously due to funds issue.

Really do not think previous rejection of study visa due to funds issue affects your chances under EE. Just make sure that your funds are in your account for the 6 months minimum duration (so you still need to wait 1 more month) and your POF documents meet IRCC requirements. If you still have concerns or can't wait additional 1 month, check http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-im.../threads/proof-of-funds-express-entry.263315/ on how to work around having sudden large source of funds in your account such as including a gift deed from your parents, etc.
