Hi,
I'm planning to take the IELTS test a month from now and I'm yet to prepare for the same.
I had taken the TOEFL before two years and scored 95.
I want to know the average preparation time to score an overall of 8.
Also, any help with the materials will highly be appreciated.
Thanks
Do a couple of mock tests for listening and reading, you'll gauge your standard from there in terms of prep time.
Speaking, if you can hold a fluent conversation in English you will easily pass.
Writing, that's the tricky part. I would use IELTS Simon (google) a very good site, and pay someone reputable to assess 2 letters and 2 essays you prepare.
That will give you a very good idea on what is needed.
Even if you are a native English speaker, don't be overconfident. Be consistent with your practice and spend at least an hour daily on practice.
Proper study and practice will fetch you the desired results in no time.
