You can try applying for a TRV. If the TRV is refused, then you can try applying for a TRP. If that is also refused, then one of the parents will have to travel to Canada and apply to sponsor the child for PR from within Canada. That parent will have to remain in Canada while the PR application is processed - which should take around six months. Once the application is approved, the child will then be able to travel to Canada.

I understand that the parents need to stay away for almost 6 months...thats y i would like to know if ders any other option like dependent visa or smthing...?
Secondly when one of the parents stays in canada to sponsor the child...is ot mandatory that he has a job?
