Hi lubob
Thanks for your reply. I have received the same file no. in my 1st letter from Canada VO and the 2nd letter received from ND VO. Further, there is no mention of any date on any of the letters on when our file was transferred to NDVO.
To quote the words of the first letter - it says - your application is being recommended to the visa office for a final determination for eligibility for processing....."
The second letter from NDVO mentions "We confirm receipt of your application package at the Visa office in New Delhi..."
Still wondering how do I know my File Transfer Date - ???
Thanks.
My e-cas change from RBVO to "IN PROCESS" with received by visa office detail .let us share our experiences in this case , have we crossed the initial assessment and secured 67 points to move further like pure in process?? and have visa finished
checking of documents?or it will process in the near future?
yes it seems that way....start of processing cant be perdicted at tuis point in time.

2. I have checked my eCAS status and am still not able to find the File transferred to NDVO date. Could you please specify where exactly in the eCAS status the same can be found.
its usually the 4th line from top in eCAS..

Can anyone advise me if I can have a new application started without having to withdraw the old one? Its taking too much time. Every stage is 3-4 months wait!
CIO transfers the file electronically in few days from your first AOR...your eCAS is not showing it so there's no other way to know about file trasnfer date...its not that important.............just a good to know........

Hi Haral
This is what my eCAS says:
"We received your application for permanent residence on < date >.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on < date >. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review."
Every applicant seems to be having a FTD - however there is no such mention in any of the communication I have received from the visa office.
