PR with LMIA backed Job offer.

Hi Experts,

I am currently on 1 year PGWP working in Canada on an Noc "C" position. My employer is ready to offer me an Noc "B" Position backed with LMIA in the same company . Will I be able to apply for PR with the support of my employer and the new job offer? If so what should I show as my Work experience in Canada in PR application. Will my work xp as classification C count under express entry ?

To apply for EE CEC or EE FSW you must have at least one year of skilled work experience (NOC 0, A, B).

If you have no prior work experience in NOC 0, A, B you're ineligible to apply neither for FSW nor CEC. Thus you can't claim 600 points.

You will, after you work for 1 year in the NOC B position. If your employer is willing to apply for the LMIA (and pay the $1,000 fee), you can use that to obtain a new work permit, gain the 1 year of skilled work experience, and then apply for PR (with the 600 pts).
