PR Visa for Int. Graduates - do we need work experience or just a job offer?

I'm an International Student in Canada going into my second year after the summer. I absolutely need to become a Permanent Resident after studying, otherwise I can't go to med school and that would destroy all my dreams! After studying, I can get a post-graduation work permit which can lead to Permanent Residence. I don't even want to work after my Bachelor's Degree, I just want (need!!) Permanent Residence.

Two years post-grad work permit is also not much, and I honestly doubt I will get a job without any work experience and my degree. Is it at least enough to have only a job offer or do we need one year work experience to apply for Permanent Residence (through the BC Provincial Nominee Program)?


Please answer, it's so important!

Agreed. Also the fact that he/she couldn't be bothered to look this information up on the BCPNP site (where it's very easily found). Guess PR isn't that important after all - or not important enough to work for...

You will need both, work experience and job offer to get PR.
