PR stream LMIA

Please advise me what is PR Stream LMIA and how long it takes to process this. My consultant is saying he have applied and now waiting for LMIA approval. Applied on 07 July and accepted on 15 July. He told me it will be processed in 40 business days but it's much more than that now. I will appreciate if anyone can advise me what is the actual processing time, how to figure out authenticity of consultant. Is it worth waiting??

A Canadian employer applies for an LMIA not a consultant. The employer pays a 1000 CDN fee then advertises the job for a few months to ensure no resident available and from there the application moves forward.

Has the consultant shared the job offer if there is one with you ? Have you paid this consultant ?

Employer have applied through Consultant.
I know employer but job offer is not shared with me.. but this is confirmed that LMIA is applied on my name.
Yes money is paid(Just application fee) but constant is ready to return if I would like to withdraw due to long waiting time.
Now I am just confused whether to continue waiting or return back as it's close to 3months now whereas it was promised to get this processed within one month.

Looking forward for feedback..

Sam here . My file was accepted on 17 july still waiting for interview of my employer . Sometimes its depend on wage as well . If there is low wage them the processing time is 128 business days .

Mine is 0631, did you applied while in canada or from outside. How to determine low wages and high wages(Province is Surrey, BC).
As have we applied under PR stream, then high or low wages effect application processing time? I belive its separate form for PR Stream and High/Low wages..

I,m in ontario province . My lawyer told me that sometimes wage effect the processing time . I applied as restaurant supervisor. And wage per hour is $16 . What is your pay rate

Mine is 23.73

M also gonna wait untill 17 october after that i will ask my employer to call service canada . Because our employer can call them nd can request to process there file as soon as they can .

Even my cousin got positive lmia after 1 month he applied in july nd after 1 month he got positive lmia . He applied as a manager assistant in a warehouse

I am not sure if this helps as we called at least twice followed by a mail to director but still its showing under process.
